Frequently asked questions
Quick answers about quotations, files, tolerances, quality, shipping and payment.
How soon can I expect a quotation?
Our quotation target is 24 hours for prototype and rapid-tooling projects, and three days for production, injection moulding and export-tooling projects. Send complete drawings, materials, quantities and finishing requirements. If special materials or externally coordinated processes require extra time, we will explain this during review.
What drawing files are useful for a quotation?
A STEP or IGES model plus a PDF engineering drawing is recommended. Include dimensions, tolerances, material, finish and revision. If you only have a 2D drawing, send it for review; we will identify any missing details needed to quote and manufacture the part.
Can an NDA be agreed before I share drawings?
Yes. You can request an NDA review before sending detailed drawings and provide your company’s proposed agreement. Start with a non-confidential project outline and a contact person; full drawings are not required for the initial request. After the agreement is reviewed and signed, confirm the recipient and file-transfer method before sharing technical files. An enquiry or NDA request does not itself constitute a signed agreement.
What precision is available for my part?
SANHE normally applies ISO 2768-1: grade F to machined metal parts, grade M to machined plastic parts, and grade C to vacuum-cast parts. Tighter tolerances may be possible, depending on the material and part geometry. Requirements beyond these grades must be identified and agreed during quotation.
How does SANHE check quality throughout a project?
We review the drawing and material requirements, check the first pieces and production process, and inspect the finished parts before dispatch. Dimensional inspection records, first-piece records and CMM measurement results can be arranged for the order, identifying the part number, drawing revision, inspected features and results. Request material certificates, your own report template or specific tests when enquiring so the documentation and inspection scope can be confirmed before production.
What quality certification does SANHE have?
SANHE is ISO 9001:2015 certified.
Can I order prototypes or small quantities? Is there a minimum order?
We support prototype, low-volume and repeat-production projects. Please include your trial quantity and expected follow-on demand with the drawings. The minimum economical quantity and unit price are assessed for the part, considering material purchasing, workholding and finishing requirements, and stated in the quotation. Sample and batch quantities can be quoted separately.
How are prototype and production lead times confirmed?
Prototype and production schedules are quoted separately, based on material availability, part complexity, quantity, finishing and inspection requirements. The order confirmation sets out the production lead time and dispatch date; transit time is separate. If the remaining batch depends on first-piece approval, that approval is included in the schedule. Tell us your required arrival date when enquiring, including any phased deliveries, so we can assess the full schedule.
How do you agree on payment milestones and credit terms?
For at least the initial order, we normally ask customers to pay a 50% deposit, with the remaining 50% due before dispatch. Different arrangements, including Net 30 credit terms, are open to discussion and require agreement for the individual order.
What shipping terms does SANHE offer?
Unless a project specifies otherwise, SANHE uses DDU shipping terms. Our quoted price covers freight and associated charges up to the port you select. The customer pays all import taxes and any other taxes levied in the destination country. Alternative shipping arrangements may be agreed individually for each project.
What happens if the delivered parts do not meet the requirements?
If you are dissatisfied with the delivered parts, contact our team no later than seven days after receipt. Please include the order number, affected quantity, photos and measurement results where relevant. We will arrange free rework or replacement and coordinate the handling schedule with you.
Is SANHE financially stable?
SANHE operates profitably and has no outstanding debt. If your supplier qualification process requires further business information, please contact our project team.
